Wow. A pumpkin harvest beyond our imagination

Garden volunteers show pumpikins and gourads harvested in fall 2025

Volunteers show off the fall harvest.

This spring and summer a crew of folks from the community garden prepared the soil, planted, weeded, mulched and managed a pumpkin patch in want was formerly the McFarland School Gardens.

Well, all our work paid off and several volunteers worked this evening to harvest and clean up the patch getting it ready for tillage and covering again this fall.

In the photo you’ll see our volunteers (missing two, sorry Bri & Stu). Thanks for one of the best seasons ever at the McFarland Community Garden!
